Gallion Stretches Hit String to 20 Saturday, August 23rd, 2025 Chalk up another one for Rocky Mountain Vibes shortstop Willis Gallion. He now has hit in 20 straight games. Gallion went 1-for-3 today's game at Ballpark of Hazleton but saw his club defeated 3-0 by the host Hazleton Volts. "Playing on the road always makes it harder to get hits and to get wins," Vibes manager Rouglas Odor said after the game. "We got one of the two, but unfortunately it was the wrong one." Willis Gallion struck out in the 2nd, grounded out in the 5th and singled in the 8th. Currently Gallion is hitting .305 and has collected 1 home run, 25 RBIs and scored 23 times, while playing in 56 games. |
