Sunday, August 24th, 2025
Carlos Perez has to call it a season. The Vancouver Canadians reliever sustained a season-ending injury against the Eugene Emeralds and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Perez was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as bone chips in his elbow and stated that he would not be able to play for 5-6 months.
So far this season, Perez has compiled a 2-1 won-lost mark with no saves and a 4.18 ERA. In 32.1 innings he has fanned 39 and opponents are hitting him at a .246 clip.
