Texas Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Tuesday, September 22nd , 2037 The Texas Rangers have a new opponent: mathematics. The Rangers still have games to play in their disappointing 2037 campaign, but the numbers say they won't mean much -- the Rangers were today mathematically eliminated from qualifying for the postseason. Texas last appeared in the postseason in 2034. This is their 3rd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 64 times in their 77-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Rangers have made the playoffs 5 times. |
