The manager of the Indianapolis Indians said he thinks AJ Vukovich is only going to get better as he gets older.

He may only be 25, but it will be hard to top the first baseman's 2026 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the International League Most Valuable Player Award.

His winning campaign featured a .262 batting average and a .336 on-base percentage this year. In 137 games he piled up 134 hits, 35 doubles, 3 triples, 25 home runs, 96 RBIs and 80 runs scored.

He received 6 first place votes out of a possible 14. Luisangel Acuna of the Indianapolis Indians finished second in voting with 3 first place votes, while Jeremy Pena of the Toledo Mud Hens finished third with 2 first place votes.
