Sekiya and Maeda Suspended for Free-for-All Monday, June 22nd , 2026 Mikihiko Sekiya of Fuji and Mototomi Maeda of Tsurugi were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. Sekiya will have to miss 4 games for his part in the brawl, while Maeda was given 6 games. League officials announced their suspensions today. This year Sekiya is batting .268 with 7 home runs. He has scored 19 runs and driven in 27. His record for the year is 3-7 in 14 starts and Maeda has a 7.11 ERA. |
