Blue Jays Rally Late to Nip Mariners
|
Toronto pitcher Victor Camacho did his part in helping his team beat the Seattle Mariners, 1-0. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. The Mariners drop to 5-5 and continue their mediocre start to the 2037 season.
The Blue Jays got a clutch hit from center fielder Tony Lopez. In the bottom of the ninth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Blue Jays.
"Victor showed what he's made of," said Toronto manager Jim McDonald.
