Astros Shut Out Orioles, 3-0
|
Houston got a first-rate effort from pitcher Melvin Rosa, who frustrated Baltimore hitters en route to a 3-0 Astros triumph at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. The win makes Houston 63-80.
Houston used a clutch at-bat from Josh Baze to capture the win. The third baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Astros ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
"For the most part, I stayed out of the middle of the plate," Rosa said.
