Noel Sizzles with 20-Game Batting Streak Wednesday, June 28th , 2084 Zane Noel of the South Bend Blazers tagged 2 hits in today's 7-5 loss to the Temecula Skyliners at Ballpark of South Bend to run his hitting streak to 20 straight games. "I realize it's unlikely to have a 20-game streak and not have a couple losses mixed in," he said later. "But it still takes the fun out of it." Zane Noel hit a solo-shot off Luís Encinosa in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, struck out in the 6th, struck out in the 8th and flied out in the 11th. At the moment, Noel is hitting .253 with 6 home runs and 30 RBIs. He has played in 59 games and scored 43 times. |
