Hialeah's Sharkey Goes Ballistic with 5 Hits Monday, August 5th , 2075 K.J. Sharkey really sizzled at the plate in today's 11-6 win over Chukars. The Hialeah second baseman blistered Volga for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. "Sharkey was too tough to get out today," the Chukars skipper said in the postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." K.J. Sharkey doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. Thus far this year Sharkey has hit .301 with 7 home runs and 43 RBIs.
