St. Petersburg Loses Pablo Gaucin Thursday, June 3rd , 2083 The season is finished for Pablo Gaucin of the St. Petersburg Snappers. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Snappers second baseman suffered a ruptured achilles tendon while running the bases in a recent game against the Fort Lauderdale Razorbacks. Team doctors said it would take at least 7 months to heal. At the moment, Gaucin is batting .353 with no home runs and 20 RBIs. He has played in 46 games and scored 29 times. |
