Horizon League Winner is Magana Monday, August 22nd , 2078 It was announced today that St. Petersburg right fielder Pedro Magana had received the Horizon League Player of the Week Award for his impressive play last week. All week long he was terrific at the plate and won the honor with a .545 BA (12-for-22), 2 home runs and 10 RBIs. So far this season Magana has gotten 21 hits in 53 at-bats for a .396 batting average with 2 home runs. His stats include 13 RBIs and 14 runs scored. He has played in 15 games. |
