Pleasant Hills's Labrador Suspended Friday, August 12th , 2078 A 4-game suspension has been handed out by the league office to Luís Labrador of the Pleasant Hills Jungle Cats. Labrador was suspended for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" during a confrontation with the plate umpire during a recent game at Diablos Grounds against the Diablos. He was ejected after arguing a called third strike and had to be restrained by his bench coach. On the season, Labrador is batting .330 with 10 home runs and 52 RBIs. He has played in 74 games. |
