Serrano Wins HL Player of the Week Monday, August 8th , 2078 Luís Serrano swung a blistering bat last week for Omaha, rapping out 16 hits in 31 at-bats against Big Train opponents to propel himself to the Horizon League Player of the Week Award. Whenever the third baseman hit the ball, he hit it with authority. The 23-year-old racked up a .516 batting average with no home runs, 7 RBIs and 4 runs scored. This season Serrano has 18 home runs and a .301 batting average. |
