Player of the Week Trophy to Wright Monday, February 3rd , 2081 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Sub League 1, but last week Mason Wright of the Waitara Diamond Kings reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Wright rocked opposing pitching for a .846 average (11-for-13), 3 home runs and 5 RBIs to come away with the award. In 14 games this season, Wright has batted at a .370 pace with 20 hits and 4 home runs. |
