Bad News for Burlington, Iglesias Injured Monday, September 7th , 2082 Burlington Bees starting pitcher Gabriel Iglesias suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow during a recent game with the Grand Junction Chubs and will miss 12 months. Iglesias told BNN, "I hurt it throwing a pitch. I'm optimistic that I will be back quicker than they say." So far this season, Iglesias has a record of 4-6 with 80 strikeouts and 40 walks in 82 innings and a 5.27 ERA. |
