Makovecz Twirls 6-0 Shutout Saturday, August 31st , 2080 Ogden Raptors hurler György Makovecz was stingy with runs in his latest outing against the Boise Hawks, shutting them out, 6-0, on 5 hits. "György was very aggressive tonight," Ogden manager said. "He threw everything he had with a lot of confidence." Through 9 innings, Makovecz tallied 7 strikeouts and allowed 1 walk. "He was throwing strikes with all his pitches and mixing it up well," losing manager said. "Makovecz has a sneaky fastball, and whatever that off-speed pitch was, it was keeping our timing off."
