Elizabethton River Riders Win Top Spot in South Tuesday, September 6th , 2078 The manager of the Elizabethton River Riders said "a lot of hard work, talent and luck" are the reasons for his team's South championship. "This club believes in themselves and goes out and gets it done," he said. "You can't ask for much more than that as a manager." It's the club's 17th division crown and gives them an opportunity to win the franchise's 4th Appalachian Series. "We want that title badly," said starting pitcher Austin McFarland as he took a break from celebrating with teammates. "This is just a start." |
