Floyd County Stymied by Vinas Sunday, August 21st , 2078 Matthew Vinas of the Elizabethton River Riders overwhelmed the Floyd County Thrashers and walked off the mound with a complete-game shutout. He blanked them 5-0 on 4 hits with a total of 3 strikeouts and 1 walk. "Matthew was on quite a roll," Elizabethton manager said. "He gets great late movement and he doesn't give in to the hitters."
