Monday, August 1st , 2078
Marcos Casarez of the Fort Wayne TinCaps and Guy Hammel of the Bowling Green Hot Rods will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 4 and 9 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent TinCaps-Hot Rods game at Parkview Field.

Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Casarez and Hammel will begin serving them soon.

Casarez currently has a .243 batting average with 84 hits, 7 homers, 41 RBIs, 46 runs scored and a .331 OBP.

This year Hammel has registered 10 wins and 16 losses in 32 starts with a 4.60 ERA while registering 197 strikeouts and 112 walks in 187.2 innings.
