EL's Top Hitter Named Thursday, September 1st , 2078 Jackson Kraus of the Santa Ana Walnut Growers swung a mean bat for the last few weeks and was acclaimed the Eastern League Batter of the Month for August. The 22-year-old right fielder slapped out a .333 batting average, 9 home runs, 26 RBIs, 24 runs scored and a .435 on-base percentage. Posting a .288 batting average to date, Kraus has 20 home runs and 79 RBIs. |
