Delgado Extends Hit Streak to 20 Games Thursday, August 17th , 2084 Liobel Delgado's bat has been smoking lately, and it continued today as he went 1-for-4 in his team's 7-6 triumph over the Seattle Mariners at The Garden. The 25-year-old right fielder has now hit safely in 20 consecutive games for the Rose. Liobel Delgado walked in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, flied out in the 6th and struck out in the 8th. Delgado is hitting .299 for the season with 16 home runs, 78 RBIs and 86 runs scored. He has 129 hits in 431 at-bats and played in 111 games. |
