Friday, August 11th , 2084
Jayce Hollings went 0-for-5 at Joe Mauer Field to break his consecutive-game hitting streak at 32 games. The 24-year-old Minnesota third baseman failed to get a hit in the 8-7 Twins victory over the Seattle Mariners at Joe Mauer Field.
Hollings did not make himself available to reporters after the game.
"I think Jayce is a little upset," Minnesota manager Kevin Twins said. "He'll get over it."
For the year, Hollings is batting .334 with 160 hits and 7 home runs. He has scored 98 times and driven in 65.
