Esteban Rips Arecibo for 5 Hits Thursday, August 4th , 2078 Caro Esteban knows as well as anyone that in baseball, the biggest contracts go to the biggest hitters. At Ballpark Boricua today, he made his case to be considered among that group. The 21-year-old center fielder hammered 5 hits in 6 chances, though the remarkable effort came even as his Quebradillas Warhawks fell, 7-6, to the Arecibo Marlins. "We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it," Marlins manager told BNN sportswriters after the game. "Thankfully, we were able to do enough elsewhere that Esteban wasn't the difference." Caro Esteban singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, hit a two-run double in the 6th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 10th.
