The Anchorage Otters powered past the Seattle Mariners, 11-4, at The Sea. Carlo Ventura provided some of the pop. Slap went 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 4 runs and drove in 2. Gilberto Porchas was the winner. He's now 2-1. The loser was Martin Cavazos. The loss drops Seattle to 6-17.

Trung Dai Phan was a prime factor in the win for the Otters. In the bottom of the second with two out, the former first round draft pick hit a run-scoring single. He went 2-4 with 2 singles and a walk.

"The vibe's good," said Anchorage manager Bryan . "We've got to keep it going."
