Master Lifts Angels to 8-7 Win
Los Angeles left fielder Isaiah Master had a 4-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Anchorage Otters, 8-7. The winning pitcher was Chris Star. His record now stands at 1-0. The right-hander went 6 innings, allowing 5 runs on 10 hits for the Angels. Giuliano Candeloro nailed down his 3rd save.

Master contributed a big hit, a 2-run double, for Los Angeles in the bottom of the third. With his team trailing 2-1, Master took a forkball from Gilberto Porchas and stroked the double to right. His 2nd double of the season allowed the Angels to leap in front, 3-2.

Master said he was "thrilled" the fans had something to get excited about.
