Caine Benson told the press after his 5-hit day, "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate. He wants to hit the ball hard."

Well, that's just what Benson of the Medford Otters did against the Tri-City Dust Devils. He went to the plate 5 times and 5 times he delivered base hits, but his club still suffered a defeat, 6-5.

"Not much I can say," offered Benson in the postgame press conference. "I got a bunch of hits, but it would have been much better to get a win. Can I trade 5 hits for the win?"
