Sikes Raps Rocket City for 5 Hits
Lou Sikes put on a hitting clinic today at Smokies Stadium, spraying hits all over the ballpark and lashing Rocket City pitchers for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. However, the offensive onslaught wasn't enough for the Montgomery Biscuits, who still fell, 8-7.

"Sometimes I try to pull the ball too much, so today I just went with the pitch," Sikes told reporters after the game. "It's great to get 5 hits, but it would have been nicer to win the ballgame. too."

Lou Sikes singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and doubled in the 9th.
