The Houston Astros stopped the Pittsburgh Pirates, 13-5, behind an impressive performance from Bálint Polgár. The former first round draft pick made life miserable for Pittsburgh pitching. He went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 4. Houston is now 80-61, Pittsburgh 68-73.

With Houston leading 8-5 in the bottom of the eighth, Polgár hit a curveball from Vicente Flores for a grand slam home run. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the Astros ahead, 12-5.

"We lit up the scoreboard," said Houston manager Austin Gravelle.
