Mets Earn Win with Late Rally
The New York Mets trumped the Montreal Expos, 8-7, at Bank Of Montreal Ballpark. New York first baseman Wanzhe Lin was terrific. He hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The save went to Victor Alatorre, his 26th this season. New York is now 69-66.

Lin contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for New York in the top of the ninth. With his team trailing 6-5, Lin took a fastball from Martin Gonzáles and stroked the home run to left-center. His 35th home run of the season allowed the Mets to leap in front, 8-6.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Lin.
