No one was more impactful than Bledar Guerrero in the 9-7 Los Angeles win over Anchorage. Guerrero, who is tied for 7th in the AL in runs scored with 114, went 2-2 with a triple and 3 walks. He scored 3 runs. Alfredo Franco went 7 innings, allowing 3 runs on 7 hits. The left-hander struck out 5 and walked 1. With the win, he ups his record to 13-10 this season. The third-place Angels hiked their record to 55-78.

R.J. Mena had a big bases-clearing double for the Angels in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Los Angeles leading 3-1 and the bases loaded, he got a sinker from Pedro Badillo, who is tied for 2nd in the AL in quality starts with 23, and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 6th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Angels ahead, 6-1.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Guerrero told a Los Angeles Today reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."
