Big Day for Neill in 11-7 Bombers Win
The Bronx Bombers bested the Boston Red Sox by a score of 11-7, with center fielder Morey Neill getting the main credit. On the day, Neill went 2-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 5 for the Bombers. The winner was Shinji Tsuji in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Kent Gummerson took the loss. Bronx occupies third place in the American League East at 57-67.

Bronx took the lead on Neill's 39th home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which came against Kent Gummerson in the bottom of the eighth, made the score 11-7, Bronx.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Neill told the Bronx Observer.
