Lamont González, who is tied for 2nd in the AL in innings pitched with 224.1, had a strong outing for the Bronx Bombers against the Portland Rose at Yankee Stadium. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 6-3 win. Jordan Colbert picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 2-4. Derek Ramsey, who is tied for 9th in the AL in strikeouts with 132, was tagged with the loss. The Bombers win now puts them at 57-67.

Bronx got a clutch hit from Pietro Palogruto. The catcher launched a grand slam home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a kill shot.

"Tough ballgame, tough loss," said Portland manager CQ Rose.
