Angels Earn 7-5 Win Against Spiders
|
Los Angeles second baseman Bram Andreassen had a 3-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Cleveland Spiders, 7-5, in 11 innings. Los Angeles, at 69-48, occupies first place in the American League Northwest.
Andreassen had a game-changing double in the top of the 11th. On a 2-2 slider from Akira Bohol, he banged a 2-run double to right, giving the Angels a 7-5 lead. It was the 22nd double of the year for Andreassen.
"This team keeps racking up the wins," said Angels manager Will UK.
