Diamondbacks Get Past Houston, 4-3
|
Houston got a valiant performance from pitcher Logan Knipp, but it wasn't enough to beat the Arizona Diamondbacks. Arizona won the game, 4-3. Knipp threw 7.2 innings allowing 2 runs for the losing team. Arizona has now won 6 in a row.
Whit Decow came through with a big-time hit for Arizona. The pinch hitter smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 4-3. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
"Right now, things are falling our way," said Arizona manager Arizona Mike.
