Dodgers Score Late, Clip Reds, 3-2
|
The Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Cincinnati Reds, 3-2, in part because of first baseman Rich Bush. He was 3-4 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Los Angeles reliever Marcos Rodríguez picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Yunlong Zou absorbed the loss. The last-place Reds now sit at 29-59.
The game came to a sudden end. In the bottom of the 13th, with one out, Bush hit a run-scoring single. It gave Los Angeles the 3-2 walk-off win.
Bush described the clubhouse as "kind of rowdy" after the game.
