Texas Rallies to 6-3 Win
|
The Texas Rangers beat the Portland Rose, 6-3, at The Garden. Phichai Satarntoong, who is tied for 4th in the AL in triples with 4, starred for Texas. He went 4-5 with a home run and 2 doubles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Evan Mark finished to wrap up his 16th save. Texas is second in the American League West with a record of 40-33.
Koshiro Amano came through with a big-time hit for Texas. The designated hitter smacked a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 5-3. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
"Big team win," Satarntoong said later.
