It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Geordi Sousa. Sousa went on a tear and cracked hit after hit off New York pitchers. When the dust settled on the diamond at Estadio 3 de Marzo, he had a 5-for-6 line and a day he will long remember. And the Guadalajara Tequileros had a win, 17-1, over the Mets.

"Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but it won't get me a hit tomorrow," he joked in the postgame interview.

Geordi Sousa singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Mike Severt in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and singled in the 8th.

So far this year, Sousa has 16 home runs and a .301 batting average.
