Space Cowboys Sweep Cubs
|
The Sugar Land Space Cowboys made it look easy today as they collected the 15th Pacific Series championship in club history.
They swept the Iowa Cubs in straight games, winning the series 4-0. The Space Cowboys disposed of Iowa 4-3 in the series finale at Principal Park.
"They were the better team this year, no doubt about it," said Cubs manager .
During the regular season, Sugar Land put up a 89-51 record and finished first in the Great Plains Division.
