Crawdads Move on to Pioneer Series
The Hickory Crawdads and Burlington Bees hooked up in a classic Round 1 that went right down to the wire.

In the end, it's Hickory heading off to the Pioneer Series, after a 5-2 win at Crawdad Ballpark tonight earned the 2-1 series win.

Outside Crawdad Ballpark, whether they were supporters of Hickory or Burlington, many fans talked about how it was a series they would never forget.

Jae-Beom Yoon played the hero for the Crawdads in the series, as his MVP performance included a .333 batting average, with a .429 on-base percentage. He also had 2 home runs, 6 RBI and scored 2 runs.

The Hickory Crawdads will play against the Everett AquaSox in the next round. Everett won their series against the Lafayette Pirates 2 games to 0. The Pioneer Series schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
