Lerma Goes 5-for-5 Against Covelo
Luca Lerma of the Brisbane Gaels had a big day with the bat at Screaming Eagles Field as he bashed out hit after hit after hit against the Covelo Screaming Eagles. Nevertheless, his big day at the plate couldn't secure the win for the Gaels, who fell, 7-6.

"Guys, it's just one game in a long season -- I hit it hard and found some holes, and bingo, 5 hits in 5 at-bats," a visibly unhappy Lerma said later. "They don't really mean anything at this point."
