Chippers Maximiano Sizzles with Cycle
Guilherme Maximiano saw a spectacular performance go to waste in his club's 9-4 loss to the Temecula Skyliners at Taft Stadium today.

The Taft Chippers left fielder had 2 runs batted in and went 4-for-5, including hitting for the cycle, but his club went down to defeat anyway.

"Everything they threw him, he was swatting around the field," said the Taft skipper . "It really was a special performance for Guilherme. It's a shame we couldn't win the game, too."

Guilherme Maximiano tripled in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Simone Forbis in the 5th, singled in the 6th and doubled in the 8th.

Maximiano is hitting .360 this year with 6 home runs and 16 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .410, 6 walks and scored 10 times.
