Ramos Cruises to Shutout
In a seemingly effortless performance, Matty Ramos of the Lake Elsinore Storm shot down the Burlington Sock Puppets 6-0 on a 5-hit shutout.

"Matty was just locating so well and using his pitches," Lake Elsinore manager said later. "He wasn't leaving anything over the plate."

Ramos recorded 6 strikeouts and 1 walk in a strong outing.

"When he needed to make pitches, he elevated his game," Burlington manager said in postgame comments to BNN. "We couldn't get a key hit off him."

So far this year Ramos has 14 wins and 3 losses and a 2.70 ERA.
