Thrashers Hitless Against Saensuk
In a dominant outing, Emmett Saensuk of the Pensacola Blue Wahoos totally silenced the bats of the Mississippi Thrashers, finishing with a no-hitter.

In the Blue Wahoos' 3-0 victory, Saensuk faced only 29 batters, surrendered no hits, had 14 strikeouts and 3 walks.

"Honestly, I didn't even know the situation was what it was until the seventh inning," Pensacola manager said. "I happened to look up there to see how many hits we had gotten, and I happened to notice that they hadn't gotten any."

Commenting on the defeat, losing manager told reporters in the clubhouse that he had a "simple" analysis of the game.

"The Blue Wahoos had all the hits and all the runs, so they won," he snapped. "But yeah, Saensuk pitched a heck of a ballgame."

This season Saensuk has picked up no saves and posted a 5-5 record with a 2.68 ERA. He has no relief appearances, tossed 80.2 innings and struck out 67.
