Arizona and Houston duked it out and the Diamondbacks came out victorious.

The Arizona Diamondbacks picked up a win at Chase Field, knocking off the Houston Astros, 5-2. Starting pitcher Raymundo Virgen played a key role in the triumph. Lewis Green earned the save, his 7th, for the Diamondbacks.

In the top of the ninth, E.J. Romero stood in the box, looking for a pitch to hammer. The Astros were trailing 5-2, but had the bases loaded. That's when Lewis Green made a terrific pitch and Romero flied out. Gone was the dream of a Houston comeback.

Arizona is now 27-28, Houston 21-33.
