It was not a good day at the plate for the Albuquerque Isotopes. They came up empty when it mattered against Charlotte Knights right-hander Pablo Roldan, who scattered 6 hits across 9 innings and held the Isotopes scoreless.
"We had 6 hits so I know he wasn't completely untouchable, but he was close," Albuquerque manager said later.
Roldan chalked up 12 strikeouts and 3 walks in the 7-0 Knights win.
This season, Roldan has crafted a 11-10 mark with a 3.19 ERA in 189 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .223 against him and he has 201 strikeouts.
