Mets Stymied by White Sox, Hastings
|
Ash Hastings, who is a seven-time All-Star, was brilliant in helping South Side beat the New York Mets, 6-0. South Side goes to 25-21. The win puts them 2½ games up in their division.
South Side starter Ash Hastings was a master of his craft. The left-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits over 8 innings.
"I just kind of blacked out and executed my pitches," said Hastings.
