Spiders Click Off Another Win, 6-1
The Cleveland Spiders topped the Detroit Tigers, 6-1, in American League action at Comerica Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Cleveland third baseman T.J. Dickens. Cleveland reliever Roberto Galvez picked up the win, raising his record to 7-0. Qiuming You was tagged with the loss. Cleveland now sits in first place in the American League Central at 99-63.

Cleveland used the timely hitting of Severino Gauna to capture the win. The catcher stroked a bases-clearing double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Spiders on top, 5-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but he made it count.

"I wouldn't want to be playing us right now," said Cleveland manager Nakashi Spiders.
