Laren Pops Two Homers in 11-4 Win for St. Louis
The St. Louis Cardinals defeated the Milwaukee Brewers, 11-4. Shortstop Austin Laren deserved a large share of the credit. Laren was 2 for 5 with 2 home runs, while adding 7 RBI and scoring twice for the Cardinals. With the victory, the Cardinals record stands at 106-53.

With St. Louis leading 6-4 in the bottom of the eighth, Laren hit a sinker from Geraldo Cotto for a grand slam home run. It was his 25th home run of the season and put the Cardinals ahead, 10-4.

"It's nice to step up when your team needs you," said Laren.
