The Guadalajara Tequileros beat the Texas Rangers, 10-8, at Estadio 3 de Marzo. Guadalajara center fielder Alejandro Narez had an outstanding performance. He went 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2. Guadalajara reliever Rodrigo Barbarella got the win, raising his record to 11-4. Williams da Covilhã was tagged with the loss. Today's win puts Guadalajara at 90-59, while Texas falls to 65-84.

The game reached a climactic end in the bottom of the ninth. With Guadalajara trailing 8-6, Geordi Sousa delivered the decisive blow, stroking a sinker from Williams da Covilhã for a grand slam home run. Ballgame.
