Braves Snag 8-7 Win
Philadelphia first baseman Tony Perez had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Perez was 2-4 with 2 doubles and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3, even as Milwaukee beat the Phillies, 8-7. The win puts Milwaukee at 50-35 this season.

In the bottom of the ninth, with two out and the game tied, 7-7, two-time Great Glove Award winner Terry Turner won it for Milwaukee. With the bases loaded, Turner hit a 2-2 curveball from Lady Baldwin for a run-scoring single, giving his team the 8-7 win.

Turner described the clubhouse as "kind of rowdy" after the game.
